Software Upload to Video Device

The best option for updating software on your Poly Voice device is to use Poly Lens. However, if you need to update software on a Voice device that is not connected to the internet, you can download the software from Poly Lens and upload it to the device manually.

Use Poly Lens to update the software for your connected devices. You can update the software immediately or choose to delay the update notifications to a later time.

The following are the options for updating software with Poly Lens:

Install Device Software Manually

  1. Open Poly Lens.
  2. Download the software bundle from the Poly Lens portal. See Download PVOS (Video) Software Bundle for detailed instructions. Load the Software Bundle to a USB drive.
  3. Save the package to the root directory of a USB flash drive and unzip the file.
  4. Connect the USB flash drive to a USB port on the back of the system.
  5. If the system detects the USB flash drive, a prompt displays on the monitor to confirm that you want to update the software. If there’s no input to the system, it automatically starts the update after a short delay.
